You know this moment. Someone brings you a problem, and before they've finished the sentence, you've already solved it in your head.

Maybe that someone is an employee. Maybe it's a client, a contractor, or the fellow business owner who always calls you first. Team of twelve or team of one, the pattern is the same: giving the answer feels efficient, but it quietly trains people to bring you problems instead of solutions.

This mini-workshop, part of the Joint Chamber Breakfast on Thursday, July 9th, is for both — the leader managing a staff and the solopreneur managing everything themselves.

What to expect:

• A short story on why we default to giving advice
• Table discussions using real work situations , whatever "work" looks like for you
• A hands-on group activity practicing the shift from telling to asking
• A few coaching questions you can use immediately, whether the other person is an employee, a client, or you, mid-decision

No framework to memorize. No homework after.
