Shakespeare's classic tale of magic, revenge, and true love.
The Tempest is Shakespeare's final solo play and the culmination of his art. This magical fantasy transpires on an enchanted fairytale island inhabited by some of Shakespeare's strangest and most intriguing characters: an earthy monster, an airy spirit, and the magus Prospero, who creates a magical Tempest, that shipwrecks his enemies on the island, ready to teach them a lesson. But it is Prospero who learns the lesson of forgiveness. Eleven local theater professionals bring to vivid life a variety of complex and engaging characters.
