About Us

Fully accredited Natural Health Science University located in beautiful Kenmore with space available for workshops, retreats and concerts.

Although the school started as a naturopathic medicine college, Bastyr University now offers 16+ academic degree and certificate programs. Building on its science-based foundation, the University has received several multimillion-dollar research grants from the National Institutes of Health.

In addition to its accredited degree programs, Bastyr University offers a range of educational opportunities and health-focused workshops for the general public.

Available to anyone in the community, Bastyr University's Bastyr Center for Natural Medicine is located in its student village. The clinic is open Monday through Friday to patients of all ages. Also on site is the Bastyr Natural Medicine Shop, a natural health dispensary offering teas, tinctures, supplements, and gift items.

The University Chapel is one of Puget Sound's most beautiful locations for weddings of any denomination. Built in 1958 as part of the original seminary grounds, the now secular Bastyr University Chapel serves as an ideal space for weddings, concerts, professional music recordings, speaking engagements, religious gatherings and other special events.

The Dining Commons offers an organic menu, a coffee bar, and organic pastries, and is open to the public. Hours for 25/26 are M-F 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
